Homemade Hair Masks


Try Making a Hair Mask at Home

While I'm on the topic of hair masks, I thought I'd share with you a few recipes for homemade hair masks. Of course, you can always buy pre-made hair masks. Click here to see some very good ones. But if you're in the mood for something organic and don't mind doing the work, here's what you can concoct in your kitchen.

For Dry and Damaged hair try a Banana and Almond Mask:

1. Mash one ripe banana in a bowl

2. Add a few drops of almond oil

3. Mix ingredients

4. Massage into your hair

5. Let it sit in your hair for 30 minutes

6. Wash out with your favorite shampoo


For Normal to Dry hair try this easy Milk and Honey Mask:

1. Pour 1 tablespoon honey and ½ cup whole milk into a bowl

2. Mix ingredients

3. Massage into your hair

4. Leave in 15 minutes for normal hair and 30 minutes for dry hair

5. Wash out with your favorite shampoo


For Oily Hair try this Yogurt Hair Mask:

1. Crack one egg into a bowl

2. Add a cup of plain yogurt

3. Mix

4. Massage into your hair

5. Leave in for 15 minutes

6. Rinse with your favorite shampoo

For Hair Loss try this Egg and Honey Mask:

1. Put 1 egg yolk into a bowl

2. Add 1 tablespoon honey

3. Add 1 tablespoon of peach or cabbage juice

4. Mix ingredients

5. Massage into your hair

6. Leave in for 2 hours

7. Rinse with lukewarm water
